I started working with Bob Armour right at the very beginning of launching Rowles Recruitment Ltd, at a point where there was a huge amount of pressure, uncertainty, and self-doubt sitting alongside the excitement of starting a new business.

While I was clear on my vision and what I wanted to build, there were significant confidence barriers holding me back, particularly around visibility. Announcing the business publicly, showing up on social media, and putting myself forward as the face of the brand created a lot of anxiety for me, and I genuinely wasn’t sure I could do it.

What Bob does incredibly well is ask the right questions. He doesn’t tell you what to do, he challenges your thinking, explores your doubts, and encourages you to confront the reasons behind your hesitation. He has a way of gently but firmly pushing you towards the very things you’re avoiding, especially when those things have the potential to move the business forward.

At the start of our work together, I had no intention of announcing the launch of my business on social media or making myself visible on my website for at least a year because I was terrified! But at the same time, I knew full well that this would have a detrimental impact on the progression of the business. Within weeks of working with Bob, that completely changed. My confidence on LinkedIn grew rapidly, I began posting regularly, sharing my journey, and showing up consistently. What once felt overwhelming became empowering.

That shift has had a significant impact on the trajectory of Rowles Recruitment Ltd. The momentum, clarity, and confidence I’ve gained through Bob’s coaching has directly influenced how I show up, how I communicate, and how I build relationships and the business is moving forward at a pace I simply didn’t expect so early on at just two and a half months old!
